Da Mello – Italian Pizza and Pasta in Malta

Impressed by this new restaurant that just opened in Mellieha. First, we tried their mini arancini with mushrooms and parmigiana di melanzane as starters. They were to die for! Then I took a spaghetti carbonara and my wife took a pinsa with porchetta. The carbonara was one of the best I ever tasted, and the pinsa was perfectly baked, and so tasty. We that point we were really full, but we shared a tiramisu. Just wow! Staff is really friendly and helpful. They made us feel welcome and at home. We highly recommend this place both if coming with friends or family or if coming as a couple. Well done

We visited Da Mello on a Saturday evening. You can immediately feel welcome by the friendly staff and even though it was busy, the service was very good and always with a smile. Food is real Italian genuine typical roman cuisine. We wanted to try a little bit of everything so we shared an Amatriciana which was unbelievable tasty and a mortadella pinsa. We also tried their homemade Tiramisu and Panna cotta which ended the meal on a sweet, but not too sweet note 🙂 We will surely visit again to try other dishes.

This restaurant should come with a disclaimer! As it can get highly addictive 🙂 ... If you're a fan of authentic Italian food, cooked to perfection by their great Italian chef , you must seriously try their pinsa, pasta and scrumptious starters such as the parmigiana di melanzane, mouth watering mini arancini , or just share a pinsa as a starter 🙂 make sure you have enough space for their perfect silky and light tiramisu!!! Staff is super friendly and so helpful ....Oh ... They also cater for vegetarians, vegans, and gluten intolerant! Thank me later 🙂 enjoy ! And buon appetito !

Very good food with friendly attentive staff. Took a special red pinsa and was amazing. Best Pizza ever - Highly recommended.

Lovely cosy place. It looked fairly empty from outside but was fairly full with a warm bright friendly atmosphere inside! Delicious pizzas and a good wine list! I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant for an inexpensive but delicious Italian food! We will be back!

Really good, the taste of the Focaccia is very delicious; I can say that it is one of the best I have eaten in Malta. Their manager is very friendly and helpful.
